The Scottish Terrier Club of Chicago's next meeting!
Sunday, March 7, 2010 from 1-4pm, is
our next meeting. Come to the STCC's "Doggie Drill Team Day"! A
fun-filled afternoon of learning to march in step with your Scottie to the piano
accompaniment of locally renowned pianist David
Drazin. Barbara Sciarra will give a demonstration.
Come and join us at the Annex of "For
Your Canine" which is located at 4233 United Parkway, Schiller Park,
Ill. 60176, 847-671-6844. We will not be in the main part of the facility
since there is a Doberman Rescue Day going on there, so don't be startled if you
see a lot of Dobermans in the area. Our club is meeting at the back of the
facility in the Annex, look for the Scottie sign on the far north door of the
building.
Bring your Scottie on a
non-retractable leash, some little treats for your dog's encouragement, a crate
or human dog-holder to hold onto your dog while you are schooled in the dance
pattern, a chair to have available for yourself in case there are not enough
already available, and of course, "human treats" for the hospitality
table are always appreciated.
