The Scottish Terrier Club of Chicago's next meeting!

The next meeting of the STCC will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2008, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at The Obedience Center, 2105 Hicks Rd., Rolling Meadows IL, 60008 (847) 991-DOGS(3647).

There will be a general club meeting at 1:00 PM and then the festivities will begin at 1:30 PM.

The Obedience Center is on Hicks Rd., just off Euclid, West of Route 53.   Click here for a map.

Parking is limited (only 28 spaces).  Additional parking has been made available at Metals Service Center Institute, 4201 Euclid located just west of IL Route 53 on Euclid Av. - the building is next to (west side) of the Mobil station at the corner of Hicks Rd. and Euclid Av. Park in the rear lot of the building and the Obedience Center is a short distance on the left (next building south of the Mobil station on Hicks Rd.)

This is our annual HOWL-O-WEEN party and one of the most anticipated events on the STCC calendar, second only to the June specialty show.

Along with the games, costume contests and food there will be goody bags for the dogs provided by our hospitality committee. There will also be several, one of a kind, a few by Diane Orange, Holiday themed glassware items and ornaments available through a silent auction. There will be a minimum bid for each item and whoever has the final bid at the closing of bidding takes the item home. Rescue will be offering some very special items for sale to help continue our efforts of protecting our breed. Finally, there will be two items for raffle as well. Come for the fun, food and the possibility of a very special item to proclaim your love of the Scottish Terrier! Doors open at 1:00 with the festivities beginning instantly!

Don't forget about the WAYS AND MEANS table!

Chairs provided by the facility are limited. It is advisable to bring a chair and have it available if needed.

We have had some wonderful costume ideas over the last several years so get your creative juices going and dress those Scotties and yourself & bring your cameras!

No Westie Club this year, so please bring some human snacks!
